Church Strategy

Valencia County Cowboy Church’s strategy is very intentional. The strategy is to reach the un-churched and a church for all people. The cowboy culture is unique and requires a proven approach to speak to those that live in the western lifestyle. VCCC strategy is designed to remove the barriers that many times keep folks from attending church. There is no judgment based on a person’s past or present situation, the church operates through teams, empowering many and accountability for all. The leadership is driven by Elder Role, which is different than Elder Rule. The pastor is the lead elder, the remaining elders serve in a spiritual and advisory role to the pastor. Lay pastors are assigned to each team to be an encouragement and resource to the team leader and members, spiritually and organizationally, lay pastors also assist the pastor in providing additional ministry needs to the church members and attendees.

Prayer and faith are built into the DNA of our strategy; there will be no success in our purpose and vision to reach people with the truth of God’s love and forgiveness without BIG prayer and BIG faith. VCCC was started on prayer and faith and we will continue to exist because of our great faith in God’s purpose and our commitment to seek His direction daily. We believe our future is beyond what we can accomplish and we know one day He will provide for us the land to build our own facility that will meet the needs of the community with a full scale Rodeo arena.
